Nissan Motors was founded in 1932 by Kenjiro Den, Rokuro Aoyama, Takeuchi Yoshisuke Meitaro and Aikawa. The company is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The current President, CEO and co-chairman is Carlos Ghosn. Nissan employs over 185,000 people and the company's revenue reached $ 88 billion in 2007. 44.4% is owned Nissan Renault SA of France in the 2008 calendar year, but in an alliance together since 1999. Nissan previously manufactured vehicles under the Datsun name. Nissan is the manufacturer of vehicle to the third position in Japan and also makes Infiniti luxury vehicles.

Nissan Motors plans to start to sell electric cars in 2012 and tried to develop hybrid cars and hybrid engine parts in the last two years.
