What is the greenest car?
Hybrids are probably the best gas mileage, and as far as I know, some emissions clean (for gasoline engines), but I heard that a life cycle analysis of the ecological footprint is much higher due mainly to the battery. I know the bike and public transport is exponentially more green driving, but if I had to drive … What about buying used cars? It is very green, one side of solid waste. And if you buy a used car that gets the fuel efficiency, like an old Civic, I wonder if this is eco to buy a new hybrid …? My only other thought is to buy cleaner burning diesel engines, as some of the new Volkswagons, because fuel Historically diesel has better, if they find a way to control their emissions by more dirty (it seems that VW did ..?) seems to be a good option too. What you hear bad – more than one car is electric (as plug-in hybrid electric full hybrid), plus Life becomes carbon footprint.
